And no one (short of the superstar himself) does Neil Diamond’s music better than Super Diamond, a band that has fans new and old singing along at every show. The San Francisco-based sextet rocks sequin shirts and funky hairstyles, churning out their own personalized renditions of Diamond hits like “Sweet Caroline,” “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “Song Sung Blue,” “America” and “Heartlight,” as well as versions of rock songs by KISS, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Selling out houses from coast to coast, Super Diamond calls itself “Neil Diamond on steroids.” Even Neil Diamond himself salutes their work and has performed on stage with them twice.
