Jazz Drummer-Percussionist Matt Gordy Plays Standards With His Sextet at the Grand Annex

He’s shared stages with Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell, Frank Sinatra Jr., Mose Allison and Tony Bennett, toured from China to South America and beyond, led the U.S. Jazz Delegation at the Changsha Music Festival, and performed with numerous major American orchestras. Now jazz drummer-percussionist Matt Gordy — who calls L.A. home when he’s not on the road — brings his sextet to the Grand Annex for a show filled with standards. Vocalist Andrea Miller will also join the group.
