By using today’s look and style, the inequality, greed and corruption of Biblical times are compared to similar issues we face in modern times. The rock opera’s chart-topping songs such as “Everything’s Alright,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” and the high-octane title song dramatically highlight the struggles of Jesus’s final days and relate them to issues still face by people living in today’s world.
