The piece is based on observations and personal experiences of alternate states of mind affected by mental instability. It is a visualization of how same data can be interpreted differently by the same mind.

In b i p o l a r Dyja uses a form of neat meditation/yoga rug as a symbol of conscious effort to find stability and inner piece. Chaotic hanging part symbolizes the work of restless disturbed mind. Repetitive, time consuming process of crochet has therapeutic calming effects.
