In My Children! My Africa!, two generations collide as they grapple with the oppression of South African apartheid. Tony Award-winning playwright Athol Fugard’s thriller follows a humane black teacher who tries to convince a favorite student that education, not violence, is the answer to the nation’s problems. The two hatch an ambitious plot that involves a white female student, but their noble plan soon falls apart at the seams. My Children! My Africa! will be performed at Hollywood’s Actors Co-op Theatres.
