Mud Blue Sky: A Layover Leads to Late-Night Revelations
Road Theatre at Lankershim Arts Center (North Hollywood, CA)

The one-act comedy Mud Blue Sky, dubbed “a snappy, soberingly snarky show,” by DC Theatre Scene, tracks a late-night conversation between three middle-aged flight attendants and a teenage pot dealer in a nondescript hotel room near O’Hare Airport, which leads to a round of personal realizations. Up-and-coming playwright Marisa Wegrzyn’s work Hickorydickory won her the Wasserstein Prize, an accolade that celebrates bold female voices in the American theater. Now her latest comes to the Road Theatre at L.A.’s Lankershim Arts Center.
