Take stress down with the breath! Try a gentle, calming style of yoga in the Yoga Therapy tradition that uses simpler flows repeated many times, often with eyes closed. Like a moving meditation, this class smoothes and extends the breath with each round of a repeated sequence, holds the breath on occasion between inhales and exhales to create moments of stillness within a flow, and ends with a seated “pranayama” (yogic breathing technique).
