JAZZ.FM91 presents the 3rd Annual World Music Festival, August 4th – 8th at Hugh’s Room. Audiences will have an opportunity to experience the sounds and rhythms from an eclectic mix of international and local artists, as the city celebrates and welcomes international athletes and guests to our diverse community.
Celebrated pianist from Iceland, Sunna Gunnlaugs will take the stage on August 7th. Described as bridging the Brooklyn-Reykjavik jazz divide with European elegance; she’ll perform with drummer, Ernesto Cervini and bassist Dan Fortin. Audiences will be treated to a mix of standards, featuring Icelandic songs and originals.
Tickets for the JAZZ.FM91 2015 World Music Festival are on sale now at www.jazz.fm, priced at $42 each, or a ‘Trio-Combo Pack’ to see 3 shows of your choice at $106. Taking place August 4th – 8th, 2015 at Hugh’s Room, each concert will be recorded for broadcast and heard around the world on JAZZ.FM91.
