Celebrate the launch of AKOMA, a musical theatre production of a young man who travels from Ghana to Canada in pursuit of his dream and the rebirth of a family legacy. AKOMA presents the pulse of Afro beat and contemporary sounds inspiring audiences and educating us on the very fabric of African society.
Designed with the richness and diversity of African culture, AKOMA is a celebration of our heritage through the performing arts fusing dance, theatre and percussion in an entertaining Broadway style production. All proceeds raised will help in all aspects of production for our show this fall.

Enjoy the sounds of Juno award winner Dee Jay Nana, Apocalypsis opera singer Bó Bárdos, Stephane Vera and David James. And relish in the beautiful space designed by Michael Holtzman.
