How to Make a Monster: Performance Art Piece
Highways Performance Space and Gallery (Santa Monica, CA)

Experimental artists Linda Ravenswood and The Six to Midnight Performance Collective bring a dozen theatrical vignettes, based on a wide variety of source material, to Santa Monica’s Highways Performance Space. Inspired by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, the 2015 IPCC Climate Change Synthesis Report, Agnes Varda’s Daguerreotypes, Meredith Monk’s Book of Days and The Tanztheater Wuppertal’s Cafe Muller, How to Make a Monster involves romance on a melting glacier, among other things. Ravenswood’s performance art pieces have appeared at both the Edinburgh and Hollywood Fringe Festivals.
