Two great choreographers will be Sharing the Spotlight in this evening of inventive, genre-blurring modern dance at the El Camino College Center for the Arts in Torrance. Jessica Kondrath’s The Movement explores the intimate connection between motion and music, and features an innovative visual representation of the musical score — so that audiences can experience the music both visually and aurally. It’s paired with Amy Allen’s Dancing in the Light, which combines dynamic movement, a compelling storyline and elements of comedy to create something as artistic as it is entertaining.
