Meat Loaf

Described as a “one-man rock opera” by AllMusic, Meat Loaf serves up beefy rock epics with passionate vocals and an iconic heavy-duty rock sound. The singer-actor first exploded onto the scene in 1977 with his monster Bat Out of Hell album. With more than 43 million copies sold to date, it’s one of the world’s top-selling records. He’s known for epic ballads like “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That)” and the teen lust anthem, “Paradise by the Dashboard Light.” A true pop-culture icon, Meat Loaf has shown up everywhere from cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show to TV’s The Celebrity Apprentice. His latest album, Braver Than We Are, reunites Meat Loaf with his Bat Out of Hell collaborator, Jim Steinman, as well as his “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” duet partner, Ellen Foley. The rocker promises this album will be different from everything you’ve ever heard, and perhaps you’ll get a taste of Meat Loaf’s next dish when he hits the stage this fall at the Saban Theatre in L.A.
