MNS warns Bollywood Help crisis-hit farmers or face boycott

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) has always been vocal about all the issues that it feels, will affect the common man. It has also been vocal about its take on Bollywood. In a recent move, in lieu of the drought ridden farmers, MNS officials have sent a letter to Bollywood and has asked the Bollywood personalities to come forward to help farmers who are worst affected by the drought-like conditions in Maharashtra state.

While on one hand, the said letter applauds personalities like Nana Patekar, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Makarand Annaspure, Mahesh Manjrekar, Jeetendra Joshi, and Swapnil Joshi for their contribution for the cause. On the other hand, the (excerpts) of the letter also clearly state that "If this one way traffic of taking and not giving back (to the society) does not end, then, it is time now to teach them (celebs) a lesson. The selfishness must be stopped now. These artistes spend lakhs on parties, fun and frolic. But, it seems that their minds are obscure and they are blind to concepts such as gratitude and humanitarianism. It would be necessary to black out their films and throw more lights in their darkened heads."
