Toronto record label Physical Presents is launching a monthly party series at Weldon Park where they’ll be taking over the hosting duties at Toronto’s staple deep house party Strangelove starting Thursday October 1st. The series is focused on shining the spotlight on DJs from the label’s roster. Every month they’ll be handing over the musical reigns and giving their artists full control of the sound for the night. The series will be known for music discovery as well as a platform for Physical Presents’ DJs to showcase new music.
It all starts on Thursday October 1st with Style Of Tigers, a Toronto based Future Garage DJ who’s new song “Stay” comes out October 2nd on Physical Presents. His tracks are very UK influenced so expect him to bring a slightly different vibe to the dance floor than what people in Toronto are used to.
