Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles, CA)
As Picasso once designed sets for the Ballets Russes, BAFTA-winning video artist Tal Rosner creates amazing visual backdrops for the world’s great orchestras. Come see how his amazing projections add layers of new meaning to Benjamin Britten’s Peter Grimes during the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s concert of Britten and Beethoven. In addition to orchestral excerpts from Britten’s operatic masterpiece, the LA Phil will also perform Beethoven’s Violin Concert, with help from soloist Sergey Khachatryan, the youngest person ever to win the Sibelius Violin Competition. Ludovic Morlot, current music director of the Seattle Symphony, conducts at the world-famous Walt Disney Concert Hall.
