L.A.’s legendary Groundlings troupe has assembled a super all-alumni cast for the The Alum-nites!, the theater’s newest improv show. Troupe pioneer Phyllis Katz directs a seasoned comedy team that includes original company member Suzanne Kent and actress Mindy Sterling, best known for her role in the Austin Powers trilogy. You’ll also see original Mad TV cast members Mary Scheer (Bunk’d, iCarly) and Phil Lamarr, who taught and performed at the Groundlings and has since lent his voice to a laundry list of animated shows, from Samurai Jack to Futurama to Family Guy. Add in a couple more “Yes, and” veterans and you have one unbeatable, action-packed improv team.
