Can you believe it’s been two years?! What started as a little one-off show has become a lovely monthly, filled with great music and amazing people. Thanks to all of you who have been coming to show the performers the love, and for making the Nite such a fun time!
To celebrate, we’re ecstatic to have Jessica Kaera Cho (performing with FRESH FLESH!), Ambsace and Fusechild performing! DJs Chanteclair (Katie Kotler) and Mary Mack (Mary Tremonte) will also be playing tunes between sets!
Jessica Cho makes moody electronic music that floats in and out of abstraction. Her newest material is influenced by experimental hip-hop, Korean folk music, and R&B. Jessica Cho is a Korean-born, Toronto-based pianist, DJ, producer, and vocalist. Alongside her solo work, she also performs with live electronic duo CHOBO, and is half of the house music production team Vision Of Paradise. For this show she will be joined onstage by lo-fi indie space-rap artist Fresh Flesh for a special collaborative live performance, with visuals by Karl Skene

Ambsace is an exercise in harmony, atmosphere, and superstition. Elegiac and ethereal, solitude and the starkness of winter remain consistent themes. It’s like if Low, The Cure, and Lycia all mixed their fluids together, an awful mutant was birthed, and then casually tucked under a bed behind locked doors.
