Fancy Franks Gourmet Hot Dogs is kicking off the baseball season with a special event to be held at their Queen Street West location in Graffiti Alley. The event, celebrating all things baseball Fancy Franks will be grilling up two specialty dogs, Frank EH! and Fenway Frank, for just $2 modelled after the season opener teams: Blue Jays vs. Boston Red Sox. Come eat dogs, cheer on the Blue Jays and gear up for Baseball season!
“Baseball and Hot Dogs are practically an institution the two are interchangeable,” says Angelos Economopoulos. “It makes sense to honour these two teams by roots by serving traditional city flavour pairings made from the freshest ingredients and invite the community to start the baseball season right with us.”
The two dogs created for the season opener include: FRANK EH!: topped with grilled onions, mustard, and crispy bacon. Pitted against the tastebud tingling FENWAY FRANK!: served with tangy mustard, relish, and chopped onions. They will be featured in house, at all locations, for a month. The Fenway Frank, pays tribute to the Boston Red Soxs traditional hotdog, bringing it across the border for Torontonians to enjoy. The Frank EH! is a Blue Jays homage that strips away the extras but keeps the bacon while never letting up on taste till the last bite.
