Please, pick up the baton and become the conductor you've always wanted to be.

In celebration of the upcoming performance of Amadeus Live (the Academy Award®-winning movie about Mozart, screened live and accompanied by a full orchestra and choir at the Sony Centre Oct 28 & 29) the Sony Centre and Attila Glatz Concert Productions invite you to step into the 18th century and become a conductor.

Join us and test out your conducting prowess while a quintet of professional musicians, dressed in period costume and powdered wigs, perform a selection of Mozart’s repertoire including his “little serenade” Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.

All attendees are encouraged to participate in the fun by taking a turn with the baton. The musicians will play to the tempo set by the conductors; set the tempo as quickly or as slowly as you see fit!

The musicians, each a member of the Scarborough Philharmonic, include Kaye Royer (clarinet), Tanya Charles (violin), Alex Toskov (violin), Laurence Schaufele (viola), and Ronald Royer (cello).

The performance is taking place at Union Station between 12:00-1:30PM as a part of Union Summer market on Sir John A. Macdonald Plaza.
