On Wednesday, February 16, 2011, police arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault.
It is alleged that:
– a woman was walking in the Islington Avenue/Rexdale Road area,
– a man approached her, pulled her to the ground and sexually assaulted her,
– during the attack, the woman was able to break free from the man and scream for help,
– with the assistance of the public, police were contacted and the man was arrested.
Wesley Koshy, 30, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Assault
2) Sexual Assault.
He was scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, February 17, 2011, room 206, at 2 p.m.
