In an unprecedented move, Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt shared the first look of Imtiaz Ali’s untitled film on Twitter which is starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. The film is slated to release on August 11, 2017. Salman tweeted at 6:20 pm, “I’m going to tweet at 7 pm today, ek baar jo maine commitment kar di..too much fun.” Then sharp at 7, Salman tweeted, “@iamsrk ki film aa rahi hai. Date maine decide kar di hai. Title tum log decide kar do. Best of luck @AnushkaSharma #ImtiazAli.”
Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, tweeted at 6:35 pm, “Something super super exciting coming up!!!! Can’t wait to disclose it but will have to wait till 7 pm 🙂 watch this space for more.” Then sharp at 7 pm, Alia tweeted, “August is too far away ya!!!! @AnushkaSharma @iamsrk I am saving the date immediately.. But Imtiaz what to put in as the title??? #CantWait.”
Anushka Sharma joined the party and in an award winning tweet posted, “What’s this @iamsrk our release date’s decided?!?” Shah Rukh Khan shot back with an award winning tweet too, “Arre I had no idea we are still searching for the title. What to do now??? Go with this title or wot?” Anushka continued the award winning tweeting by reluctantly conceding, “I knowwww!! But now that @aliaa08 has said I guess we will have to na?! What say???” Shah Rukh Khan shot back on the cue, “Absolutely aur bhai @BeingSalmanKhan ne jab commitment kar di hai toh ab hum kaun hote hain. 11th August 2017 it is.”
