Many industry people and fans have observed that all big banners of the bollywood film industry are doing their best to sign either Kareena Kapoor or Katrina Kaif for their upcoming big ventures. Which then raises the question – Has the leading lady race in bollywood come down to a two horse race?

Well many may argue that actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Vidya Balan, Aishwarya Rai and Deepika are also getting their fair share of big movies, but let me bring a staggering piece of stat to your knowledge.

Kareena is the only actress who has given 3 back to back 100 crores plus movies, in the shape of 3 idiots, Golmaal 3 and Bodyguard, second to her is Katrina whose golden runs with blockbusters like Tees Maar Khan, Zindagee Na Milegi Dobara and Mere Brother Ki dulhan continues.

Now let’s look at the upcoming releases of the two actresses. If we talk about Kareena then she has biggies like Ra.One, Agent Vinod, Once upon a time in Mumbai 2, Dhuaan and off course her much talked about Heroine.

Katrina is not too far behind with Ek Tha Tiger, Dhoom 3 and Yash Chopra’s untitled movie.

So where do the likes of Priyanka, Vidya and Kangana stand? They all have big movies of their own coming out but the movies both Kareena and Katrina have in their kitty supersede every other movie.
