The last time we saw a couple in love on Koffee With Karan, it was a few episodes before, as Twinkle turned teary-eyed when her husband decided to revive the romance of their fifteen year old marriage on the sets of the chat show. And now, yet another couple coming on the show are Shahid and Mira Kapoor.
For the uninitiated, Mira aka Mira Rajput is not from the film industry and this will be her first television appearance. And apparently the teaser of this episode has already generated a lot of curiousity as the couple has been revealing a lot of intriguing things about each other. As the two profess their love for each other, Karan teases that this is the first time that Shahid has been on the show with somebody he is actually spending his life with. From talking about whether Shahid’s exes were invited to his wedding to Shahid claiming that Mira is his version of ‘normal’, the episode promises to be a fun, lighthearted and romantic affair.
Mira will be seen in a tell-all mood as she revealed that she is head over heels in love with Shahid and also about his most annoying habit which is burping. Candid and bubbly, she claims that both of them know all there is to be known about the other. However, Shahid protests saying he still is learning about all her boyfriends, the number of which apparently mirrors his own!
From arguing in the Rapid Fire Round to flirting with each other, Mira and Shahid’s chemistry is apparent and will create sparks on the Koffee couch
The said episode of Koffee with Karan season 5 will air on Sunday, January 1 at 9 PM on Star World and Star World HD.
