Ever since the time when the legendary actor Naseeruddin Shah made his debut in Bollywood, there has been no looking back for the man, who has, by now, attained a cult status all across the globe. Besides Naseeruddin Shah, his other family members have equally gained popularity and respect amongst the film fraternity. For the uninitiated, Naseeruddin Shah’s family consists of wife Ratna Pathak Shah, sons Vivaan Shah and Imaad Shah and daughter Heeba Shah.

In a recent interview to a leading publication, the veteran Naseeruddin Shah shared a handful of photographs of his family. The adjoining photograph has Naseeruddin Shah posing with the members of his illustrious family. Naseeruddin Shah considers all his three children (Imaad Shah, Vivaan Shah and Heeba Shah) were theatre babies. Readers may know that, the Shahs run a theatre company called ‘Motley’. Naseeruddin Shah reminisced the fact that while his wife Ratna Pathak Shah grew up watching her mother (the late Dina Pathak) perform on stage, her kids (Imaad Shah, Vivaan Shah and Heeba Shah) grew up watching her and him. He also added that he was really proud to see his elder son being not only interested in theatre but also composing his own music.

On the other hand, speaking about his mother, Imaad Shah said that he had observed his parents’ working style quite a bit by now. He added that his mother would raise the slightly uncomfortable questions and cut straight to the crux of the matter without beating around the bush at all.
