Encouraged by the runaway success of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Shashank Khaitan announced the second instalment titled Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The principal photography of the film began around May last year.
At the recently concluded Filmfare awards, the viewers were treated to a surprise song and dance number from the film Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt did an impromptu dance on a song from their upcoming film Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Sources say that, the said performance was planned very impromptu on the day of the event.
Besides Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, Badrinath Ki Dulhania also stars Gauhar Khan in a prominent role. The film is slated to release on March 10 this year.
