Readers may remember the unfortunate accident of 2012 where the animator Charu Khandal got permanently paralysed. After a long battle with her ailment, today, Charu Khandal left for heavenly abode.
Looking back, readers may recall that the animator Charu Khandal had worked on Shah Rukh Khan‘s Ra.One, for which she had even won a National Award. In the year 2012, when she was returning home after celebrating the National Award win, her rickshaw was suddenly hit by a speeding car which resulted in her getting wounds to her head and spine. Post that, she was left paralysed till date.
The team of ‘Red Chillies VFX’ posted the sad news on social media with a heart-touching condolence message: “In memory of Charu Khandal, a former team member of our studio, passed away on Tuesday morning, 17th January, 2017. Charu will always be remembered for being a happy go lucky, spirited girl and a true fighter! She was always passionate towards her work, and believed that she could make a difference with her contributions.”
