Ever since the time he started off his innings in Bollywood, there has been no looking back for superstar Akshay Kumar, who had braved many odds to reach where he is today. While on one hand, he is all set with the release of his upcoming film Jolly LLB 2, on the other hand, he, like always, is leaving no stone unturned to promote the film to the maximum extent possible.
As a part of the film promotions of Jolly LLB 2, Akshay Kumar will now be seen hosting a special episode of the crime based TV series ‘Savdhaan India’. Reports have it that, amidst his choc-a-bloc schedule, Akshay Kumar had managed to allot three hours for the shoot of ‘Savdhaan India’. Continuing the tradition of his impeccable timing and punctuality, Akshay Kumar reportedly came on time and finished shooting his portions in 40 minutes flat. Reports also have it that, Akshay Kumar shot the whole episode without any retakes. Not just that, Akshay Kumar also reportedly read the script before reaching the location. And when Akshay Kumar met the director of ‘Savdhaan India’ prior to the shoot, he had given his valuable inputs for the betterment of the episode. Getting the inputs from Akshay Kumar nonetheless, the director of ‘Savdhaan India’ was more than happy to incorporate the said changes in the script.
Readers may recall that, this is not the first time when Akshay Kumar had hosted any episode of ‘Savdhaan India’. Prior to the aforementioned episode, Akshay Kumar had earlier hosted a special episode of ‘Savdhaan India’ as a part of promotions of his film Baby.
Besides Akshay Kumar, Jolly LLB 2 stars Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Shukla and Annu Kapoor. While the film has been directed by Subhash Kapoor, it is slated to release on February 10 this year.
Besides Jolly LLB 2, Akshay Kumar will also be seen in a host of films including the southern flick 2.0 with the megastar Rajinikanth. Readers may know that, besides 2.0, Akshay Kumar will be seen in Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB 2, Neeraj Pandey- Shree Narayan Singh’s Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, Neeraj Pandey’s Crack and Gold, which happens to be a patriotic film about the first Olympic gold medal won by India in 1948.
