It all started in the year 2015 when the whole of the film industry was treated to an ethereal experience called Baahubali: The Beginning, a film that not just broke the language barrier, but also, went onto break records galore at the Box-Office. This was followed by the film’s sequel Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which released this year. This film, yet again proved to be a goldmine at the Box-Office for its makers.
Little did the makers of the Baahubali series know that, their film will be made in Bhojpuri! Bollywood Hungama got its hands on the film’s poster and we bring you the details of the same. While the Bhojpuri film has been titled Betwaa Baahubali 2, it stars the Bhojpuri stars in the form of Ajay Dixit, Neelu Singh, Gopal Rai, J. Neelam, RD Shaikh and Umesh Singh. The film, which had been directed by Dhiraj Thakur, had got released on April 21 this year. Unlike Baahubali which was about power and glory, Betwaa Baahubali 2 was all about the typically quintessential elements which can be found in any typical Bhojpuri film. For starters, Betwaa Baahubali 2 happens to be the sequel of Betwaa Baahubalii, which had released in the year 2008.
We really wonder what do Prabhas and Baahubali’s director S. S. Rajamouli have to say about their Bhojpuri counterpart!
