One of the most interesting upcoming films is Chandamama Door Ke starring Sushant Singh Rajput and R Madhavan as astronauts. After Sushant Singh Rajput had an elaborate training at NASA, R Madhavan recently headed to the US Space & Rocket Centre in Alabama to kickstart his preparation for his upcoming role.
R Madhavan, who will be seen as an astronaut, is currently in Alabama for a week. The actor is training under John Palmer, the special effects director, who is helping him to get into his character. Speaking about his experience visiting NASA, R Madhavan felt like a kid in Disneyland. He got to try different space suits and learn their functionalities. He was shocked when he heard about the cost of a space suit.
John Palmer had previously worked on Hollywood films like Geostorm, Apollo 18 and The Astronaut Farmer. R Madhavan said that working with John Palmer has been helping him with the technical aspects of each spacesuit. With the kind of work experience in Hollywood, John has also give R Madhavan some great reference point to work on. John Palmer has helped him in everything from the process of getting into a spacesuit to safety measures and train underwater.
