While this week, Bollywood will be seeing a dull phase on Friday, the next week as we gear up to welcome Diwali, we also have a clash of two releases – Ajay Devgn starrer Rohit Shetty film Golmaal Again and Aamir Khan’s production Secret Superstar. As both films are designing their own promotional strategy, the team of Golmaal Again seems to be promoting their film extensively on television on varied reality shows.
Recently, the team of Golmaal Again was a part of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge which has Akshay Kumar as its super judge. The show, which recently kick started, is on a hunt for best comedians and what better than this platform to promote their comedy film. Amidst all the hoopla and fun activities, Parineeti Chopra decided to take everyone by a shock when she walked on fire on stage.
While we are unaware of the reason, we are definitely in awe of the actress’ strength. We also hear that the actress was taking it easy during the promotions owing to an ankle injury and was on her way to recovery. However, now it seems that Parineeti has left all that behind as she decided to take up this challenge.
Besides all the crazypanti on the sets of the comedy show, audience will also get to see Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra dancing together for the first time. Interestingly, they have never shared screen space in a film as yet.
On the other hand, the rest of the team too seems to have had a gala time on the show. It was also an interesting moment to watch Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn sharing the stage together after over a decade. The two have come together for films like Suhaag, Insaan and Khakee before.
Golmaal Again, that retains Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu, Tusshar Kapoor from its earlier films, also features Tabu and Parineeti Chopra who are new to the franchise. The film is slated to hit the theatres during Diwali on October 20.
