Riteish to produce and act in Marathi film

Earlier we had reported that Riteish Deshmukh will be entering into film production and his maiden venture will be a Marathi film under his banner Mumbai Film Company. Now according to the latest development, Riteish will not just produce but also act in his maiden production venture.

Riteish is a Marathi boy and wants to give something back to his motherland and this film will be a tribute to his motherland as he feels he owes a lot to it.

The actor who has had a successful year with films like Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya and Housefull 2, is a little nervous about acting in a language other than Hindi but since Marathi is his mother tongue and he is well versed with the language he is sure he will do justice to the language.

Riteish has two scripts in hand, one is in a complete commercial entertainer while the other is a sensitive subject. Whichever works out well first, will go on floors first.
