One is the South superstar and the other is a Bollywood megastar. Obviously, a project has to be grand if we get to see these two stalwarts coming together. And it is for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Retelling yet another epic tale of courage and bravery of a man who fought against the tyrant rule of British, this film will see Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan together. And today, on the occasion of Amitabh’s birthday, the makers have decided to do something special for the superstar. They released the official FIRST LOOK poster of the actor.
By now, readers would be aware that the titular role of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy will be essayed by Chiranjeevi. On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan is playing a small yet pivotal role of Gosayi Venkanna in this historical film. Based on the story of the real life hero, Narasimha Reddy, the film traces the journey of rebel against the British Rule. Amitabh too will be contributing to this freedom struggle, albeit in a completely different avatar compared to the Yash Raj Films’ Thugs Of Hindostan.
Audiences, who have come across the first look of Amitabh, are quite appreciating it, possibly because of the intensity of the same. His role as Guru Gosayi Venkanna is that of someone who shows the path and keeping up with the theme, the serious look of the megastar seems to have won hearts.
Actor-producer Ram Charan, who is producing this film, took to Facebook, to share the motion poster of Amitabh Bachchan from Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy on his page.
Coming to the film, it is directed by Surendra Reddy. It features Nayanthara as Chiranjeevi’s onscreen wife along with Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi Tamannaah amongst others in prominent roles.
