The #DeepVeer gala wedding affair had us all hooked, booked and cooked of our beloved couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. While their wedding ensembles were carefully curated and crafted to perfection by the feted fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, the duo ensured the same finesse for their wedding footwear and for their guests as well. The gala wedding affair that transpired at Lake Como in Italy saw Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh step into royal footwear crafted by the feted Sabyasachi in collaboration with the shoe maverick Christian Louboutin. The couple had chosen sequined juttis from the brand, Needle Dust as special Mehendi tokens. The prodigious Indian designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, and the world-renowned footwear designer Christian Louboutin have effortlessly and seamlessly deciphered the cultural intricacies.

Sabyasachi, with his ethereal collection of bridal wear and Christian Louboutin with his ornate range of footwear, are an alliance conspired in heaven!
Ranveer Singh’s mojaris featured intricate gold work.
Deepika’s ballerina flats complimented that of Ranveer’s and featured red and gold embroidery.
Meanwhile, Deepika specially selected the designs and the packaging of the special potlis created for Forever Love and Mayfair juttis by Needledust. These lovely tokens of love were for loved ones attending the functions. Silver and Gold organza potlis with sari tie-ups served as the perfect covers for the juttis.
Culturally inspired by Indian royalty, we loved this idea of tweaking old-world charm with a new age appeal has led the traditional Punjabi jutti to go bespoke and gift them to your loved ones.
