Deepika Padukone is on cloud nine currently, thanks to the fact that she is enjoying marital bliss to the fullest with her hubby Ranveer Singh! Her video of getting emotional after Ranveer Singh dedicating an award to her is going viral. She also made news after attending the Ambani wedding with hubby and dancing at the Sangeet! As her first assignment after wedding, she spoke to Famously Filmfare show and let out a bag of secrets! Post marriage, Deepika has become much more open as she has shed her inhibitions and that guarded demeanour. She was asked about Ranbir Kapoor not making it to her reception and she had a very honest reply to this. No, his work didn’t keep him busy or anything as Deepika clarified why he didn’t come and also spilled beans on their current relationship.
Deepika said, “We’ve not spoken. I mean, we spoke before the reception but we have not spoken after. But, that’s him. I’m not surprised at all. But, that’s the relationship we share and that’s the beauty of that relationship; so much is said without saying much at all.” Post break up, Deepika and Ranbir did a couple to movies together and are on excellent terms. DP also made an appearance with his current flame Alia Bhatt on Koffee With Karan.
DP will be seen in Meghana Gulzar’s biopic on an attack survivor next. She is planning to take off for her honeymoon only after Ranveer’s Simmba is released on December 28.
