Yet another firang babe is all set to storm Bollywood. We are talking about Elena Kazan who was seen in a small role in Agent Vinod and is now making her full-fledged debut opposite Randeep Hooda in the forthcoming flick John Day.
Elena will be seen playing an Iranian woman in the film directed by Ahishor Solomon and produced by Anjum Rizvi along with K. Asif. John Day is an edge of the seat thriller with an ensemble cast comprising the likes of Naseeruddin Shah, Shernaz Patel, Salim Ghouse and Vipin Sharma besides of course Randeep and Elena.
Born in Moscow, Elena grew up in Germany and studied and worked in US. She is said to speak Russian, French, German, English, Spanish, Bengali and Hindi. Her Jewish and Afghani background is said to have done magic for her because Solomon was adamant to sign a girl who would actually look Iranian and guess he got lucky after seeing Elena in Agent Vinod.
