Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Her latest song may have been titled as risque as 'Halkat Jawaani' but that didn't quite deter Kareena Kapoor's mom Babita to pay her a visit. Incidentally this is the first time ever in more than a decade that the doting mother has seen her daughter grooving in front of the camera.

"Yes, Babita ma'm was there on the sets when the song was being picturised", informs a crew member, "It wasn't a flying visit though. She was there for full eight hours when the song was being shot. She not just spent time with Bebo but also chatted at length with Madhur sir."

Apparently, Heroine is one film which has caught the yesteryear' actress' attention since it deals with the life of a Bollywood leading lady. Since she was one of the top actresses of her time, there has been an enhanced interest in her to know more about the film.

"Kareena thinks very highly of the film and truly believes that it would be a game changer not just for her but for the Hindi film industry in general. Everyone associated with the film believes that this would be a landmark affair. Obviously Babitaji has been hearing a lot about the film from Kareena and others as well. She was curious and when the song 'Halkat Jawaani' was being picturised, she decided to pay a visit", another source adds.

Kareena wasn't surprised though on seeing her mother on sets and while it was a little uncanny on Babita's part to spend an entire day there, it was business as usual for the numero uno actress.

"It is very rare to see Babitaji on the sets when Kareena is working. In fact it is difficult to remember when the last time she actually did that. May be it was during the Refugee days when Kareena had just started off and was a newbie in the industry", the source continues, "This time around she was plain intrigued to know what Heroine and in particular 'Halkat Jawaani' was all about. Even Kareena was seen in animated conversations with her after giving every take. Babitaji definitely went back impressed after seeing her daughter's moves."
