The trailer of Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior was launched today. The film also stars Kajol, Luke Kenny and Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles. The film is based on the great Maratha Empire and its glory and gives a tribute to brave Maratha warrior Tanhaji Malusare.

At the trailer launch event, Ajay Devgn was quizzed about the film being compared to Baahubali. The Singham actor said, "Our film is different with a unique story. Great movies are coming out nowadays and we are also trying our best to work excellently.''

The film directed by Om Raut will show Ajay Devgn's character Tanhaji Malusare at war with Saif Ali Khan's character Uday Bhan. Luke Kenny plays the role of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb while Sharad Kelkar plays Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film is slated to hit the theatre on January 10, 2020.
