Actor Yami Gautam took everyone by surprise on Friday when she announced her wedding with Uri: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar. The couple took to their respective social media handles to share a picture from their wedding ceremony held on June 4. The couple had a private ceremony in the presence of their family members.
On Saturday, Yami shared pictures from her Mehendi ceremony along with Aditya. Today, she shared beautiful pictures from her simple Haldi ceremony held at her home. Yami shared three pictures from the ceremony and she looked extremely happy in all these pictures. Fans were in awe of the actress for having a simple ceremony in the presence of just her family members and close friends.
In one picture, Yami is seen getting haldi applied on her face by her sister Surilie. In another image, she is seen in a red saree showing off the traditional golden bangles.
Surilie also shared a couple of candid pictures from the wedding festivities. “Love Light and Happiness #yamiadityawedding #mahendi #love #family #blessings #mybeautifulsister,” she captioned the post.

Meanwhile, announcing their wedding, the couple took to social media and wrote, “In your light, I learn to love – Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes.”
