Actress and TV presenter Mandira Bedi remembered her late husband Raj Kaushal on his birthday and wrote an emotional post on her Instagram page. The actress wished Raj on his birthday and prayed for his soul to be happy and surrounded by love wherever he is. She also recalls the time when 15th August was all about Independence Day and his birthday but now it's just emptiness.

She shared a throwback picture of the duo spending time together and captioned it, "15th August: Was always a celebration. Independence Day and Rajs Birthday. Happy Birthday Raji.. we miss you and hope that you are watching us and have our backs like you always did. The gaping void will never be filled. Here’s hoping you’re in a better place. Peaceful and surrounded by love..".

In the picture, Mandira and Raj can be seen smiling and closely sitting beside each other. Raj Kaushal a filmmaker by profession passed away two months back following a cardiac arrest and the news of his demise sent shock waves across the film and telly industry. The actress has gathered herself and is back to work and recently shared a post on being grateful to get back to work, for kindness pouring in, and for having a great family to look up to.
