Sonakshi Sinha made her debut in the film industry as an actor with the 2010 film Dabangg alongside Salman Khan. Over the years, she has been part of some interesting projects and has shared screen with the likes of Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Shahid Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and others. However, in her career over a decade long, she has not shared screen with Shah Rukh Khan and when a fan recently pointed that out she had a response for it.

Talking to Bollywood Hungama recently, Sonakshi answered a fan comment asking her to work with Shah Rukh Khan. Responding to the comment, Sonakshi said, "I would love to. It is definitely on my wishlist. Hopefully, it will happen soon. You should start writing to Shah Rukh sir as well."

Meanwhile, Sonakshi was last seen in the recently released film Bhuj-The Pride of India. For the film, the actress also performed Garba for the first time onscreen for the song ‘Ramo Ramo’. A fan of Sonakshi complimented her performance and said that it reminded her of Deepika Padukone’s performance in ‘Nagada Sang Dhol’ from Ram Leela. The fan also expressed a desire to see Sonakshi and Deepika dance together onscreen in a film. Reacting to it, Sonakshi said, "That would be amazing. She did great in that song. If this reminded you of that I am very very happy and yes it would be amazing to do a song with Deepika. I think she is phenomenal."

On the work front, Sonakshi will be making her web series debut with Fallen in which she will be seen as a police officer. She is currently shooting for the film Kakuda with Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem.
