USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The sequel to the 2004 film Masti, which was earlier scheduled for release this April has been pushed foward to June. The reason being, apparently director Indra Kumar wasn't all too pleased with the original climax of the adult comedy, opting to reshoot the new climax which will be lighter and funnier.
However, speaking to Kumar who confirms the rescheduling of the film's release, we are told, "Yes, we have rescheduled the release of the film from April to June, however it is not because we have to reshoot the climax. In fact we have not yet shot the said sequence."
Grand Masti which features the original actors of the first film Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani, also features six new girls.
