If a visit to her native place in Punjab along with close family members was exciting enough, there was another surprise awaiting her. Late Thursday night, music video of her newest Sufi number 'De Deedar' went online, something which was all this while being planned as a birthday gift by those associated with makers Colossus.

"I guess it couldn't have got cooler than this," says Geeta in an excited tone, "Though the teaser did come in a fortnight ago, I had no clue that they were actually holding on to the release of full-fledged video for my birthday. I was informed about it only in the evening. They ensured that I went to sleep with a smile on my face. This birthday has indeed been special."

Considering the fact that she had her entire family fly down from U.K. and assemble from various parts of Punjab, Geeta had all the more reason to feel super special and delighted.

"We all went to our 'pind' in Punjab where my mom was born. We went to my maternal grandmother's place. It was so nostalgic to be around because as kids, we used to go there every Summer. It was wonderful to relive those memories."

While her mother, sister, aunt and cousins were all around here, her entire day went in visiting various religious sites in and around Jalandhar. While a relatively quiet get together was planned for Thursday night, there are huge plans for a full-blast party tonight.

"Since kids at home are going through exams, we decided to lie low yesterday. However, tonight is going to be rocking. We would continue to party right through the weekend and I would be back in Mumbai next week," says Geeta.

While she keeps mum on her 'special friend' Harbhajan Singh visiting her and her family in Punjab, Geeta is now looking forward to all the reactions that have already started pouring in for the music video which features Lakhwinder Wadali as the singer-actor.

"Yes of course. It has been five years since 'Gum Sum Gum Sum' that I have done a music video. There has been such an exponential change when it comes to visibility that videos get online today. I am excited to see how it is received," smiles Geeta before signing off.
