USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…A while back, it was reported that an arrest warrant had been issued against the team of the film Goliyon Ki Raaslela Ram Leela. Now we hear that the Allahabad High Court has stayed the arrest of the film's producer and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and actors Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.

Apparently, the arrest was stayed in connection with a criminal case registered against them at Bareilly district, alleging that the obscenity in the film had hurt the religious sentiments of a particular community. The order was passed by a division bench comprising Justice Arun Tandon and Justice Shashi Kant on a writ petition filed by Bhansali and others.

The arrest warrant was earlier issued after Kailash Chandra Sharma, a resident of Bareilly, had lodged an FIR against Bhansali and others alleging that the producer, director and actors hurt religious sentiments of a particular community by depicting obscenity in the film which has religious name.
