Kalki has given a fantastic performance in the film which is a coming of age story of a girl with cerebral palsy. It has an emotional angle to it but it is not a film which saddens you.
Everyone who has watched the film has been very high on praise for Kalki’s acting and how she has managed to sensitively carry such a role without making the viewers feel sorry for her.
Kalki has been humbled with all the praise coming her way. She has worked very hard to essay the role of Laila. She did prep for almost 6 months prior to shooting and it all seems to be worth it.
