Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Though initially it was being said that the fourth installment of the horror franchise Raaz has been put in the back burner due to Vikram Bhatt's other commitments, but, now it seems that the film is back on track. Now, Emraan Hashmi too has been roped in to play the lead in this installment that has been titled as Raaz Reboot.
Revealing about the film, Mahesh Bhatt stated that Vikram Bhatt, after wrapping up Love Games, will be kick starting the film in Europe by the end of this year. The film will be also be shot in the U.S. and a few portions will be shot in Mumbai. Though Mahesh Bhatt refused to divulge any details of the plot, he did mention that the reason they are shooting in such cold climate is because snow is an integral part of the story. As far as the casting is concerned, except for Emraan Hashmi, no other actors have been finalized. Rumours have it that, this time around, Emraan will be playing the role of a villain. Mahesh Bhatt, however, chose not to comment on the same.
Raaz, that started off with Dino Morea and Bipasha Basu playing the leads in the first part, continued as a franchise with Emraan Hashmi playing the lead in the other two installments. While Raaz 2 had Kangna Ranaut as the leading lady, Raaz 3 saw Esha Gupta in a leading role and Bipasha Basu playing the negative role.
Raaz Reboot is slated to release on June 1, 2016.
