USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Amidst his busy schedule, Aamir Khan will be taking time out to commemorate literary maverick William Shakespeare's 400th death anniversary this year at an event where in American actor Sir Ian McKellen too will be present.
MAMI Film Club has partnered with the British Council, the BFI, GREAT, NCPA and Fountainhead to bring Ian McKellen and the 'Shakespeare Lives on Film' program to India. While he is here, the American actor is going to be in conversation with Aamir Khan on Shakespeare's legacy and world cinema at large. The conversation is slated for May 23 in Mumbai, in presence of a large audience consisting of cinema enthusiasts and will mark the debut outing of MAMI Film Club, which will soon roll out an exciting year-round programme of activities for the denizens of Mumbai.
Confirming the same, Anupama Chopra, Director, MAMI shares, "Sir Ian McKellen in conversation with Aamir Khan is a Shakespeare lover's dream and a cinema lover's dream.
