Bollywood vs Politicians match to be held in Delhi on June 11

In fact, every Sunday, this group of TV and film stars get together to practice the sport in one of the prominent locations in Mumbai. Abhishek Bachchan, who holds the reigns of the team, is all now set to fly to the capital along with them to play a match with renowned politicians for a charity fundraiser.

Earlier we had reported that a friendly match is being planned between the renowned film and TV celebs and Members of Parliament. The said match will be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on June 11. Amongst the celebrities, besides Abhishek Bachchan, the team includes Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Armaan Jain, Dino Morea, filmmaker Shoojit Sircar, TV actors Shabbir Ahluwalia, Karan Wahi, choreographer Marc Robinson and the new entrant actor Kartik Aryan. On the other hand, the politicians team led by musician turned politician Babul Supriyo includes Manoj Tiwari (actor turned politician), Anshul Verma (UP), Kamlesh Paswan (UP), Keshav Prasad Mourya (UP), Saumitra Khan (West Bengal), Anupam Hazara (West Bengal), Parvesh Verma (Delhi), Vijay Kumar Handsak (Jharkhand), Rahul Kaswan (Rajasthan), Devji Patel (Rajasthan), Abhishek Singh, son of Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh and Gopal Shetty (North Mumbai).

However this initiative does not end at the national level. Film producer and All Stars Football Club's Bunty Walia further added that the team will play matches against government officials and local teams of several other countries like Singapore, UK, Qatar and Dubai as a part of their first international football tour. On the other hand, Ameet Mehta, whose organization is planning the match, further added that Rajiv Pratap Rudy (Minister of State – Skill Development and Entrepreneurship), announced that the funds raised through the same will be donated to the skill development initiative.
