Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…We all know that the maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is now all set to release Veerappan, which happens to be is the Hindi version of his Kannada film Killing Veerappan. While making the film, Ram Gopal Varma did extensive research on the dreaded Veerappan, who operated from Bandipur forest.
The cops who were instrumental in Veerappan's encounter, apparently helped Ram Gopal Varma with some of the information. That's why Ram Gopal Varma has now decided to show them the movie first, prior to its release in theatres.
Veerappan stars Sandeep Bhardwaj in the title role, along with Usha Jadhav, Lisa Ray and Sachiin Joshi (who also happens to be the film's producer). The film is slated to release on May 27.
