USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…There is a rumour doing the rounds in Bollywood that Esha Gupta has performed an item song in Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon and that the number has been snipped out because the film's leading lady Kangna Ranaut wanted it out.
The rumour has been gaining credence, as none of the principal players involved in the project has bothered to clarify. However Esha Gupta finally came forward to rubbish the rumour. Says Esha, "I was never offered the song. I don't even know if there is an item song in Rangoon or not. I think it's just some fake news doing the rounds maybe, even the makers will agree. I have no idea about anything related to Rangoon."
A source close to Rangoon reveals Ranaut brought this false rumour on herself, "She has been quite a handful on the sets. But then, so has Shahid Kapoor. They've both been throwing their weight around the sets of Rangoon. The rumour about the item song is false. We wonder how Esha Gupta came into the picture."
