Lest anyone believe this red-carpet awards season has been a total snooze-fest, we challenge you to stifle “oohs” and “aahs” after witnessing Cate Blanchett’s latest look. Thanks to a curve-hugging Giorgio Armani Privé gown, all eyes were on the 43-year-old actress at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards in Sydney today. And, we’re just going to go ahead and assume that many a jaw were lifted from the laps of nearby guests — can you imagine laying your eyeballs on that number IRL? Hubba hubba!
Of course, Blanchett’s ballsy event fashion isn’t anything new. Remember that regal Rodarte frock? Or, who could forget that slightly geeky Givenchy getup?
